Maiya is a bright individual who has an immense passion for art. At a young age her Grandfather gifted her a book on how to draw cartoons. Given a few hours to herself, she returned with drawings her mother believed to be tracings. Since then she has taken a wide variety of classes in the art realm, creating everything from crayon sculptures to life drawings. Originally from Connecticut, she left everything she knew behind to pursue 3D Animation at the University of Colorado Denver. She has come to love the organics of foliage in environments and what they do to bring the scene to life.
