Matheus was born and raised in Denver Colorado. Having not been selected for the 2018 NFL draft, he instead opted to intern with the Denver Broncos as an un-drafted graphic designer.
He currently works for the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche doing graphic and motion design.
