Art History
Sharifa Moore is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Colorado Denver. Sharifa has worked at CU Denver's Emmanuel Art Gallery since 2017. This experience has supplemented her education by allowing her to engage in curatorial activities, art handling, installation, writing gallery text, as well as connecting with contemporary artists and fellow students. Sharifa’s research interests include archival processes, post-WWI art and influences, and women and gender studies in the contemporary landscape. Upon graduation, Sharifa plans to attend graduate school, and hopes to work in the vibrant creative industries of the Front Range.
